{"id":850,"date":"2016-12-07T19:17:14","date_gmt":"2016-12-08T01:17:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.discovery.wisc.edu\/vr2016\/?p=850"},"modified":"2016-12-07T19:17:24","modified_gmt":"2016-12-08T01:17:24","slug":"127-rpg-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.discovery.wisc.edu\/vr2016\/2016\/12\/07\/127-rpg-update\/","title":{"rendered":"12\/7 RPG Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>What each individual in the group worked on over the last week<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Amarah &#8211; Finished intro scene\/level to the game, debugged game.<\/li>\n<li>Matt &#8211; Completed first level and got a start on working on battle system.<\/li>\n<li>Skyler &#8211; Helped to program first level and object interaction.<\/li>\n<li>Mais &#8211; Finalized story and outcomes, now working on creating in-game dialogues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>A description of the accomplishments made<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Amarah \u2013 Finished first level, debugged issues with First Person Controller, added more terrain to the firt level, adjusted colors and graphic details.<\/li>\n<li>Matt \u2013 Figured out how to program a battle system and interaction between scripts, finished game play blueprints\u00a0for all 3 levels.<\/li>\n<li>Skyler\u00a0\u2013 \u00a0Helped Matt with creating battle system and starting on puzzles<\/li>\n<li>Mais-Editing and recording in-game speech clips.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>A description of the problems encountered<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Amarah &#8211; Was having a large time-consuming issue with the FPS not working. Eventually realized that I was using the wrong camera rig for the intro scene.
