It will be a small device connect via Bluetooth to a smartphone app.\u00a0 The device will have a little button, when the button is pressed, the fit band will send a signal to the smartphone , sending\u00a0 a e-mail\/text message with the user location to a pre-registered list of people informing that the user is in some kind of dangerous situation.<\/p>\n<p>The challenges that we might face in this project would be:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Battery of the fit band (need to be small enough and all the time connect to the phone via Bluetooth)<\/li>\n<li>Develop a mobile application and deal with apple restrictions ( After some research I discover that you can&#8217;t send a e-mail without user authorization using apple API, The developers will have to figure out a way around it).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.discovery.wisc.edu\/wearable14\/files\/2014\/10\/IMG_1922.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-269\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.discovery.wisc.edu\/wearable14\/files\/2014\/10\/IMG_1922-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1922\" width=\"474\" height=\"632\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.discovery.wisc.edu\/wearable14\/files\/2014\/10\/IMG_1922-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.discovery.wisc.edu\/wearable14\/files\/2014\/10\/IMG_1922-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My idea is of a Security fit band.
