{"id":458,"date":"2014-11-09T07:19:07","date_gmt":"2014-11-09T07:19:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.discovery.wisc.edu\/wearable14\/?p=458"},"modified":"2014-11-09T07:19:07","modified_gmt":"2014-11-09T07:19:07","slug":"119-weekly-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.discovery.wisc.edu\/wearable14\/2014\/11\/09\/119-weekly-post\/","title":{"rendered":"11\/9 Weekly post for Lights-up Dress"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week I got materials that I ordered\u00a0from Adafruit last week.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>ADXL335 &#8211; 5V ready triple-axis accelerometer (+-3g analog out)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u009e<b>13 x <\/b><b>Adafruit<\/b><b> LED Sequins &#8211; Warm White &amp; Ruby Red <\/b><\/li>\n<li>\u009e<b>Shift Registers <\/b><\/li>\n<li>\u009e<b>Hook-up Wire <\/b><\/li>\n<li>\u009e<b>Conductive Thread<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fristly, I reaserched\u00a0on the internet about what is\u00a0the accelerometer and shift register and how they works. \u00a0And then I tried to work\u00a0with the\u00a05V ready triple-axis accelerometer(+-3g analog out). So, I used conductive thread to\u00a0sew\u00a0accelerometer and lilypad\u00a0to a piece of the fabric and tried wheather it was working or not throgh programming. However, I did not get the result that I wanted to have and it seems not working\u00a0which\u00a0I think maybe it is the connection problem.
