Project Description: The project I would like to do would be to re-create major historical events with Virtual Reality that put the user right in the middle of it.  For example, sit next to Lincoln the night of his assassination, sit in the trojan horse as the Greeks invade the city, or be in Boston the night of the Boston Tea Party.  It would make sense to re-create events that took place in a relatively short manner.

An Interesting twist creators could do if they wanted would be to ‘alter history’ and show how things might have turned out, if say, we never dropped the atomic bomb.  Another choice I, or the designer, would have to make would be whether or not the user is a passive audience or if he is engaged with the characters in the environment.

Interest: I would not be interested in doing this myself/with partners.

Device(s) to Be Used: HTC Vive/CAVE

Things I Know How To Do: Pick good events, make it fun for the user, most of the programming(I think?).

Things I Would Need Help With:  Design, and making the user a non-passive audience.
