This dress lights up in response to temperature of your fingers. When you touch the temperature sensor and your fingers are warm, it lights up red. When your fingers are cold, it lights up blue.

I am glad that the project at least works. I’m disappointed that my original idea didn’t pan out but at least I have something to show.

This is not at all like my original idea. I intended the dress to heat up, but that didn’t work so now it lights up. The reason it lights up (temperature) is pretty similar to the stimulus I wanted to use to make it heat up, though.

My largest hurdle was trying to figure out the heating element. I tried a lot of different materials and energy sources. In the end, I decided to give up and go with lights.

If I had more time (and money), I would have continued trying heating elements and gotten them to work, hopefully.
