Project Title: Heated Formal Wear

Project Description: Create a dress that will emit heat when the wearer is cold, most likely determined by temperature sensor on fingers.

Materials and Costs: Fabric ~$30, Arduino board ~$50, Carbon tape and wires ~$80

Timeline: 

  • Feb 25 – March 1: Get temp. sensor to work
  • March 3 – March 17: Make dress
  • March 22 – April 5: Make ring
  • April 7 – April 14: Get heating device to work
  • April 19 – April 28: Programming, troubleshooting

Fallback Plans: Dress heats up to some other response, perhaps air temperature or a button.
