weekly update 5

Progress is a little behind schedule but the schedule had a lot of time blocked out for final touches which is can be left out. The biggest setback on the electronics side was the broken microphone, which that problem is now fixed. This week will be designated to sewing the electronics on to the shirt and the finalizing the circuity, so far its microphone has worked on the breadboard. Also during this week the poster needs to be done (the final draft) and we need to decide if we want to risk putting the aux cable circuit on the final project.

Sam- ordered and received all new spare parts for the audio circuitry. The microphone now works with simplified code. The code still needs to be adjusted on the EL module so that the lights will turn on to a more natural range of volume. During this week Sam will meet with the ECE department to go over what would be needed to make an amplifier for the aux cable, (the biggest problem is trying to accurately make the Arduino take in the aux cable volume and have it in the same range as the microphone.

Stephen-Started sewing the shirt also adjusted pattern pieces so the shirt will be easier to put on and so it will come together right. After working on the shirt over the weekend some proposals for adjustments to the construction to the shirt need to be talked about.
